Just So You Know…

I am alive and I have an iPhone.

To be alive is a wonderful thing, and I’m sure you are surprised to hear it since I’ve been MIA for the last ten days. Sorry about that.

The iPhone bit came as a huge shock to me, and I promise I will tell you all about it when I am not busy cramming for my last (last! ) final of the semester, feverishly practicing the piano for the church Christmas program, and spending hours on end with a friend (A FRIEND, WILL WONDERS NEVER CEASE!) watching seasons one and two of Gossip Girl, which I am not even ashamed to admit {what is a guilty pleasure called if one doesn’t feel the slightest iota of guilt while pursuing it?}.

You know you love me.

xo xo,

…never mind.

The real crime was making your husband watch a couple of episodes. Shame! Congratulations on the iPhone though. Have you picked out a name yet? :)

Gossip Girl is awesome sauce! I was talking to a bunch of teenage girls about it a few nights ago and they said, “Who even watches that?”

Ha! As if! I guess it’s 20-somethings all watching it. That’s good though, it’s too mature for a teen audience. Cause really, my high school years were nothing like that and I don’t know anyone whos were!

Sooo. You got an iPhone eh? Lucky you. Sometimes I get really upset when other people get one because I know they will never use it in the correct way. YOU are NOT one of these people. For example: children who are too young to even HAVE a cell phone let alone the flipping iPhone, old people that can barely understand how to use the internet and yet they think an iPhone will be less complicated for them, and last but not least the people who have never used or owned a mac. Drives me bananas. You can call me out on this one for being insanely jealous but I know in my mind I’m right. Some people will agree with me.
As I step away from the biotch train, I really am happy for you. I promise. You are totally in the group that would appreciate the phone for what it is, and actually use it in the proper ways. Good for you. I would very much lie to hear the story how you got it. Was it a surprise? Those are the best!
I’m guessing Gossip Girl is good if you continued on to the next season. I might have to add that to the Netflix cue. I’ve always been intrigued but never dared. Good to know I won’t feel as bad if I watch it.
