Nope.

This weekend threw me for a loop. If my Facebook account is any indication, anyone who went to Westwood High School or grew up in the general vicinity knows why. It deserves a decent post, one I want to write, but I can’t deal with it right now, so just hold tight.

Plus my research papers crept right up on me.

And so have final exams.

So this is all there is for today.

Come back tomorrow for something better (hopefully [hopefully in the sense of, “I hope it’s better than this p.o.s.”]).

If you dare.

p.s. If you missed this weekend’s Saturday Steals (some of which trickled in through Sunday evening), go catch up—there’re some gooders.

p.p.s. Thanks to all who have continually (and newly) offered your support of Saturday Steals. I think it’s getting better every week. Thanks for giving me hope; I needed it.

I am coming back tomorrow for this story you have because they are always a good read. I think you need an article in a paper, well via internet because I don’t read the paper much. But anyway, I love your writing and I adore you and I am gearing up for this next edition of SS. ♥

You, and about 90% of the rest of the world, it seems, are ALMOST tempting me to get a facebook account. I didn’t grow up near Westwood, but I lived two blocks north of it for a few years in college. And, as usual, I know nothing. And nothing on their website (who knew MPS went and got all fancy with websites for all their schools?? That wasn’t even a thought back in the day when I went there. I’m getting old.). So what happened? They finally closing that old place down? Did it burn to the ground? Getting rid of the warrior in favor of something more PC? Do tell!

Good luck on the end of the semester. I remember those days not-so fondly. (Sorry if there is supposed to be a hyphen between so and fondly. Or if there shouldn’t be any hyphens at all. I always get English-conscience around you. Again with the hyphens…)

I just found out last night…Traci called me. So, so sad. My heart is just breaking for all of them.
